Hello from South East Scotland
Hi I live near Edinburgh. I have been looking through the site for some time now and have been very impressed by the enthusiasm for the kilt from far and wide.
I own two kilts. One a 9 yard "tank" in 13oz wool (Douglas Tartan). The second is a Gordon military weight kilt.
I am a keen golfer and I am looking forward to this week's Open Championship at Carnoustie which is some 80 miles away.
I think that X Marks the Scot is GREAT!

You do realize, don't you, is that one of us poor confused Yanks is going to call you Pete119.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.
