    Hello from (usually) sunny San Diego

    I stumbled across this forum while doing research on the Anderson tartan/clan.

    Back in the first half of the 1980's I served on a submarine in Holy Loch Scotland. I wanted to buy a kilt outfit at the time, but as they say in that part of the world the price was "verra dearrr..."

    I now have a couple of SportKilts and a Semi-traditional on order from Rocky at USAKilts (which I found on this site, thanks).

    I've enjoyed several of the threads, particularly the one on the Polaris Military tartan which will probably be my next acquisition if I can find one for a reasonable price.
