hello from Vancouver!
I'm from Mission, BC (just an hour East of Vancouver) and I've been rocking the kilt for about a year now.
I'm an amateur strongman and I just recently started competing in highland games last year. I know that if I had shown up without a kilt I would never hear the end of it so since I was cheap, I searched online for how to make a kilt and settled on the design for a modified x-kilt.
My family's heritage is based out of Carhaix-Ploughuer, in Brittany, France. I'm trying to learn Breton right now and I speak French and some Spanish.
my user name just means "big arms" in Breton, which was my Grandpa's nickname in the French Army.

My Mom and Sister are competing too (made a kilt for my sister):

made the dog a kilt too, why not:
