    Hello From Virginia

Hi all! My name is Kelly, I've been hiking in a sport kilt for while and am now looking at purchasing my first "real" kilt for nicer occasions. I'm pretty new to things so I'm more at a stage soaking up knowledge and I'm not sure I have a whole lot to contribute just yet but I'm happy to be here!

    Welcome from Michigan!

If you're used to Sport Kilts (I have several) and you're looking for a step up but not quite a really fancy dress kilt, you might look into P/V. Something like a USA Kilts casual or semi-trad. They look quite nice and are darn near indestructible. I find myself wearing them much more frequently than my Sport Kilts anymore.

If you're looking for a more proper wool kilt, there's lots of good advice on the forum.
