Hi from St Louis, Missouri.
My husband had to remove a few links from his sporran chains. After reading this site, I bought him a leather sporran strap for casual use instead.
For me, there is nothing in this world that holds the same fascinating appeal as watching the backside of well kilted man...

Welcome aboard! I too prefer a strap, even for dress wear - easier on the fabric of the kilt. Again, welcome!

from the Scottish Borders.
Two forthcoming events in the English Home Counties where you will have a chance to meet some of us in person if you wish.
Friday 1st July:- Canada Day in Trafalgar Square, London, look out for the Maple Leaf tartan kilts from 10am till 5pm, that will be us.
Sunday 10th July:- Harpenden Highland Gathering. The Scots corner will include an information tent on clans, septs and tartans staffed by member of this forum.
Hope you can manage to come along to meet us at one or other of these events or preferably both!!
