    Hello from Winnipeg Canada

    Hi all,

    I found this site whilst looking for how to properly tie my ghillie brogues.. :-)

    I am a fan of all things Scottish (I "own" a square foot parcel of land near the Laphroaig distillery ), and am looking forward to learning many things here..

    A bit about me... my wife boasts strong Scottish roots (Fraser) and in her younger days was a highland dancer. My daughter has been highland dancing for 2 years now and absolutely loves it.

    I received my kilt this past Christmas (Scottish National tartan) and am looking forward to wearing it out for the first time next month!
