hey im new to kilts need info?

hey kilts have caught my attention lately and i want to get into to it, but i dont want to do it wrong and im wondering if i could gert the know hows and donts for kilts, and where i could get one, and so on.

I would say the kilt you choose would ultimately depend on your budget, do you want a hand sewn 4 yard box pleated kilt or 8 yard knife pleated kilt, a machine sewn 5,6,7, or 8 yard kilt, will you want it made of wool or something like Poly Viscose or Acrylic? Once you figure out those questions then you will have a good base from which to choose.

Others here will disagree with me but I would say look at stillwater kilts for your first one and try it out. If you find that like many of us here you become addicted to it then you can always move on to the hand sewn catagory and the stillwater can be relegated to a knock around. Just my opinion of course so take it with a grain of salt. Oh, and welcome to the chaos.
