Hey from Summerville, SC

Hello,
My name is Mac Greer, and while born a Florida Cracker, I currently live in Summerville, South Carolina.
After years of prompting from a co-worker & friend I attended a few games and gatherings. That’s when the folks at the McGregor tent caught my ear. So, I've spent the last couple of years attempting to retrace my heritage. I've made it as far back as Kentucky to around 1900.
My dad has never mentioned his Scottish heritage. I intend to change that. It'll be a hard time getting to where you're going, if you don't know where you've been.
As far as kilts; not yet.
But I'm researching and will eventually get there. So, any advice or direction would be welcome!

Buy a cheap kilt. Nobody learned to swim by sitting on the shore. You can always buy a good one in the future, when you know what you want.
