Hey there!

I am married to Beedee a moderator. I call myself an xmarks widow. I live in the shadow of his kilt wearing. The kilt is his only attire, his closet is bigger than mine.

I love smithing. Currently working on a knife, Sgian Dubh, and a hatchet. Yes, all at the same time. Prevents making too many bad blows on high carbon steel because you have down time between forging.

If they ever make bib overalls in an xmarks tarton I am there.

Jude

from Chicago. One of my favorite sgian dubhs was made by an Xmarker who forged the damascus steel blade from a used Harley-Davidson chain. It's great that the blacksmith's skills are not being lost.

....sigh, a new social group -- XMarks widows.....

... we have an "agreement" in our home -- no XMarks on Sundays. Steve is in withdrawal by the end of the day!

Greetings from the other side of the continent. I saw some of your blacksmithing -- very nice!
