Hiya from Cambridgeshire - novice lassie training for the Highland Games
I'm just a 46yo lassie wanting to get into the Highland Games. Beginning to train my wee body for the rigors of throwing and one day will find my own caber to toss about. Scouring the posts to find a good training program to incorporate into my existing beginner schedule.
One problem: Need help locating HG where a novice lassie can play! Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Would love to meet other lassies! Found one...there surely has to be more!

Hello Lassie,
Welcome to XMarks from just east of you in the middle of Thetford Forest in Norfolk.
Harpenden Highland Gathering is the only games that I know of down south. The next is Ashbourne in Derbyshire, but it is on the same day as Harpenden.
Good luck with your hunt!
Regards
Chas
