Howdy from Victoria B.C.
Greetings all, I just wanted to say hello.
I've recently Purchased a Kilt that is in the process of being made by the Fine Steve Ashton at Freedom Kilts.
I've worn a Kilt Before on a few Occasions. the most Notable being my Brothers Vacation. A Funny story was that we were standing on the Sidewalk talking and some Tourists came up wanting to take pictures with us.
They asked if we were performers of some kind for the city or show. We informed them that is was for my brothers wedding, and they seemed most interested in the fact one of would dress like that for a wedding.
My Father has a Clan Tartan in Ancient and I have gone for If I recall correctly The Modern Muted design.
Steve is a wealth of information and I hope to learn more and more by being here.
