Hullo t' me kin

Greetings Kin and Cousins,

This is actually my second post. Found this group during the order process of me freedom kilt. Excellent forum, Wanted to thank all the active members.

Actually came to an interest in proper men's wear the roundabout way. A close encounter with a jeep wrangler whilst suzuki'ed (bandit 600) put me down hard for a time.

The resulting scars left me with a distinct adversity to clothing in warm weather. Despite an excellent privacy shrub about the compound, this brought much woe to the neighbors.

By chance I surfed upon some MUG pages whilst researching an obscure martial art form and discovered the kilted on-line community.

Have nothing against those other folk, but being descended from MacBeths' and Drummonds' and such the kilt strikes a chord for me.

Would like to have a TANK in the not to far future, but amassing modern kilts ATM.

Wore me original UK to work yesterday (a warehouse which issues gear to installers of home entertainment wares). My boss, a female of a rather unique religious persuasion was taken somewhat aback. Her Boss, a young man was delighted. A supervisor outside my chain of command was somewhat disturbed, but survived and general reaction was positive.

Really appreciate such a great group and hope to be a good contributer. I thought about choosing a really "kilty" handle, but I have been Perldog007 all around the .net since '96. It is my brand.

So, when you say "Suzuki'd" what do you mean? Do you drive a Sami Because that would be sweet. I've had a couple in my time, and man i want another.

If you want the look of a more traditional kilt, but not the expense until you can afford your tank there are alternatives you could look into
www.usakilts.com
www.stillwaterkilts.com
www.canadiancasualkilts.com
Hope that helps.
I was honda'd a few times, not fun at all.
