    an introduction about me

i have been looking at kilts for about 6 months to a year and finaly found utilikilts , the traditional kilts were out of my price range so i ordered a black workmans utilikilt and it should be here on thursday june 10.

i am 19 years old i have long hair and a beard, 3 facial piercings and no tattoos
yet but i will when i have the money.

i smoke cigars and like classic cars and motorcycles and girls.

at the moment i am retired but i will find a job before i am 21, i had a job for about 3 years working as a sacker at a grocery store, it sucked but it paid the bills.

please excuse my spelling and gramer i slept through english class.

i live in kcmo and i have not seen very many people in kilts besides pipe bands at the masonic shriners, and my dad when he was in the pipes and drums.

my dad is cool about me wearing a kilt and i am going to suprise my mom with it, either way i will wear my kilt almost everyday, i paid for it so i can wear it whenever i want.

    thanks

    Greetings and Salutations...

Welcome to the world of kilting. I too picked a black workman's utilikilt as my first. You will love it. My next will be the Survivor kilt.

What kinda smokes do you perfer? I like a good A Fuente or a Punch myself. Anything Dominican.

Kansas City, I got some inlaws out that way. Been through K.C. a few time, seems nice. Also one of my favorite bands is in Olathe, Kansas. Thats near by...right?

Anyway welcome and hope you enjoy your time here.

    thanx...Ded N. Buried

Welcome to the group Kilted in KC, it's great to see another young guy getting into kilts. Most of us had to get a little older before we adopted kilt wearing. I can only suggest that you find that job soon because this is very addictive and between Grahams prolific postings and Ham's massive collection of kilts you've got some awsome role models to live up to.

    kind of smokes

i like punch and la gloria cubana and partegas and montecristos and a. fuente cigars.

i am smoking a montecristo white right now.

have you tried the opus x by fuente?

i also smoke a pipe too. i usualy smoke about 3-4 cigars a week, i use a xikar cutter and a st.dupont x tend black torch lighter.

yep olathe is near by but its about a 30 minute drive.

my next utilikilt will either be a black mocker or a camo original.

    thank you for the welcome

    thanks

Welcome, Kilted in KC. You've picked two quite expensive hobbies in kilts and Harleys.

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you are already a free spirit, you will fit in well with us. I regret that I did not start wearing a kilt until later in life, I am glad to hear that you are doing so before you are 21. Glad that KC will be represented by your kilting!

    Again welcome Kilted in KC

Welcome to the board Kilted in KC. There seems to be quite a few bike enthusiasts on the board now a days.
