Jonesin' for my first kilt
Hello everyone,
I recently was struck with the decision to research my ancestry, leading me back to my Scottish roots in Clan Ross. This page has proven invaluable to me in my research on kilt wear and helped me choose my first kilt, ordered yesterday, an 8 yard knife pleated 16 oz tank in Ross weathered hunting. I cannot wait to get it! Also the DIY pages are inspiring, especially for hand forged sgian dubhs, as I have been looking for a reason to fire up my dad's forge. Thanks everyone!

Welcome from the highlands of Kentucky.
Just the fact that you described your purchase as your "first kilt" signals more kilt purchases in the future and puts you in good stead to join the ranks of the kilt wearers who wear many different kilts. I like that mentality.
