New Guy, Western WV
Hi all,
I am new to the kilting world, I am an Appalachian Mutt, and me(along with other members of my family) are trying to put together a family tree that confirms our various heritages. I'm Welsh, Irish , Scottish , and German. "Possible" clans my family may have lineage or septs in would be McDonald and McPherson, that's all I know so far. I am purchasing a USAK Casual Kilt this month, it will be in the Modern tartan of clan McDonald. I'll post pics when I get the kilt and sporran . Glad to meet all of you!
~Cheers!

Welcome! I'm going to be in Braxton County next week visiting friends. It is a beautiful area and the people are very friendly, even if they sometimes look a little funny at the kilt.

A warm Scottish welcome from middle England.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Welcome! - from the Jemez Mountains (one of the largest volcanic calderas in the world) of northern New Mexico.
Can't wait to see your MacDonald Modern pics. One of these days I would like to get a USAK casual. Both MacDonald and MacPherson have a lot of great looking tartans from which to choose.
