New member looking for Trews pattern

Hello everyone. I just finished a kilt for my son (highland dancer) and want to make a pair of trews as well. I am looking for a higher waisted pattern he can wear with his Prince Charlie, preferrably for a slim youth, but I can cut down an adult pattern if I have to.

Has anyone come across a suitable pattern?

You may find this pattern useful. It has the high waist and the fish tail back. There are other historical patterns out there, but I can't remember the best one at the moment.

from Chicago. Looks like you already have a couple of possibilities for your trews pattern. That's the great thing about Xmarks - a world of resources.
