    New Michigan Scot

    Greetings, Yooper Scot is from my youth in Northern Michigan, as the only Scot. I grew up with Scandinavians and Indians, mostly Objibway, and Chippewa. We are called Yoopers for the Scandinavian accent and the letters U.P. for Upper Peninsula. Very interesting to see how your heritage influences the culture you experience. Glad to be a part of the clans again.
