Caledonian chap with a dash of Hibernian, greetings and good health to one and all.

P.S. Any advice for fixing a hackle to a Caubeen? Would be appreciated!

From the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania!

My wife put a small button hole on my caubeen for the RIR harp slider, and the hackle fits nice and tight behind it. I'll try and get a pic later.

First welcome, now as to the hackle, generally they tuck in behind the rosette on the side. If you have no rosette, get creative and place the loop of the hackle wire on the pin of a cap badge. That should work.
