New from Vancouver
Hello everybody. A newbie who has already posted a couple of times. If I've made any errors I apologise...just put it down to the new excitement of finding a kilted community on the net! One thing that is a wee bit unique about me is that I am a dragon boat paddler here in Vancouver and we race in kilts! Always a popular photo op at the races. Our team is a Scots/Chinese fusion called Gung Haggis Fat Choy (see my recent post on Kilts night about our unique Burns night here in Vancouver). Most of the team races in Fraser Hunting, but I'm going to order a Mackinnon Hunting in poly so I can race in my own colours.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Very cool from Toronto, Ontario, I'm wondering do you know Raphael from Vancouver he is a member here who is also into Dragon Boat racing.

Welcome! Be sure and post some pics when you can. I loved the description of the upcoming Burn's night supper--it made my head spin with all the cultural directions!

Welcome from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Now you must post some shots for us to see. I am not familiar with dragon boats, but I like dragons.

Enjoy the rabble. There are many resources here for the kilted and soon to be kilted.

Welcome from across the water in Victoria. I was at Gung Haggis Fat Choy last year. I am still burping the Haggis Won Tons.
You have a lot of kilties in Vancouver and should be able to find a kilt night any time you want one.
Say hi to Toddish for me next time you see him.
