Newbie from Boston

Hello to all. Glad to be aboard! I live in Boston, and am of (part) Scottish descent (Donald, Clan Ranald and MacFarlaine mostly.)
My love for kilts and Scotland came later in life (I'm mid-40's now) as I researched more and more of my family history - I wish I had started kilt wearing 20 years ago! In the course of a couple short years I had acquired three kilts and have never looked back. I wear them to work mostly, as I like to dress them up with shirt, tie and vest. It's a great conversation starter, and many of my customers will ask for "the guy who wears a kilt." So it helps me stand out in the competitive field of sales. Naturally I wear them to more formal occasions also, and of course for my wedding. I do also like the more casual look of a heavy cabled sweater and boots with the kilt. I like it all! I guess that's why I'm here.
I've learned some great things and have enjoyed the camaraderie throughout many of the different threads and postings on X. I look forward to seeing and learning more.
