    Newbie from Michigan

Looking forward to learning from everyone here. I don't have a Kilt yet but it is something I am working towards, just not sure how to go about it yet. It seems like it is worth the investment for a "tank" so I am saving up.

I'm not too far from you over in Akron, Ohio.

    Welcome to the rabble.

Lots of good threads here about choosing and wearing kilts. If you have any questions, we tend to be a friendly lot who don't mind answering questions (and chances are you'll get more opinions that people who actually answer, but that is part of the fun.)

Tanks (Modern dress kilts -- 8 yards heavyweight, tailored), Sports Kilts, UtiliKilts, and others.

If you are like most of us, you'll start off with one kilt. Then, somehow ... more.

I thought at first it might be an easy choice, but now I see there is a lot to look at
