    Newbie from Middle Tennessee

    Hello to all -

I'm from Bethpage TN, originally from Washington State. I don't have a kilt yet but I'm definitely looking for one. For Christmas my wife got me a kilt pin and flask with the MacLachlan crest, which covers my surname McLaughlin. I have been on for a little over a week now and decided I had better intoduce myself and thank you all for some of the most informative , interesting and humorous posts. ( These kilts dont come cheep.)

Lookin forward to finding some highland games in the area this year.

...from the far nw corner of Washington state!

I use to know a guy called "Ruffus" around here back in the 90's.
He was a reenactor with the WCWA.

from Smyrna, TN! I know of Bethpage. I've hunted there a few times in the past. I grew up in Hendersonville and my parents live in Gallatin. The closest games to you will be the Glasgow games in KY. They are held at the Barren River State Park. Its just up Hwy 31. It'll be the first weekend in June. I'll be there in the Clan Barclay tent.
