Hello to you all. My wife, Ginny, weaves tartan and spins wool. I would like to learn to knit "tartan" hose typically worn with a kilt. I have heard that there is a machine that can produce tartan diamond shapes in hose. Any information out there about that. Maybe knitting by hand is best? grahamt

Welcome. So, you have a weaver at home, nice. I know there are some "tools" (beside needles) which make knitting easier but haven't used then yet.
