| | | Newbie in Victoria BC Canada ..Wha's With ME??!
Hi there. Steve from Freedom Kilts told me about this site today -and today is the day I ordered my first "contemporary Kilt". I'm looking forward to getting my new kilt -with pockets --what a concept!
I've been wearing my Buchanan kilt for years, and before that a Hunting Stewart. I'm a piper and have done lots of playing, and busking in my kilt -even in Japan. Kilts are, as anyone knows, the ultimate chick magnet. ;-) I met my wife in one, and so did my best friend (his wife). And of course I was married in one too.
So how many kilters are there in Victoria and area on this forum?
Cheers, Nate

I heard that you're huge in Japan!
Not from BC, but let me be the first to welcome you to the forum!

Welcome to the forum, Nathan. Although I live in Scotland my late mother's family all emigrated to Vancouver Island and one of her cousins still lives in Victoria. I also have relations in Cobble Hill, Sooke, and Courtenay. Vancouver Island is very similar to Scotland.

Another welcome from Ontario, Nate.
I've visited Victoria numerous times - have family there.
Beautiful city.
We'll have to arrange a Kilt Night there sometime.
