Too New to Have an Avatar! Any suggestions?

This is my first post here after lurking for some time. Any avatar suggestions?

Anyway, I have five kilts, one sporran, two pairs of hose, one skean dhu and a tweed kilt jacket that's too tight to wear. Am I over kilted or about average?

    Regards,

    Uncle Kilty

Avatar? Many of the folks here use their clan crest or tartan. But, it can be anything you want I suppose. Let your imagination run free.

Number of kilts? Some of us are trying to catch up with Hamish

With a crowd as diverse as us I really don't think there is anything like average, I wear a kilt everyday and have 16 now ranging from 4 to 8 yards in PV and wool, while others may wear them for special occasions only.

    Salutations from sunny California.

I'm with Glen there is no such thing as normal...err...that is to say, average here on X marks the Scot!

As for an avatar, make it fit for a family friendly forum and it shouldn't be a rubber chicken (being that is trademarked by Grant and the Sinister and Obscene Kilt Syndicate*)

    Cheers

Only 5 kilts - you are still in the early stages of the addiction.

Avatar - you could scale down a photograph of you in a kilt or you could download one of the many animated avatars which are freely available from websites such as avitarity.com

from coastal North Carolina. I would suggest that you select an avatar that has some meaning for you. Clan badges or tartans are fairly popular here.

Welcome, from sunny Inverness-shire.I think I am the only one with a fishing fly as an avatar here, so,anything other than a rubber chicken and baring in mind the family friendly bit, anything you fancy will do.

Welcome to Xmarks from Sunny Arizona. There is no such thing as too many kilts. Our own Hamish has in the high 80's (87 kilts I think). Until someone owns one for each day of the year, there probably won't be too many. (That'd be a huge closet).

As for the avatar. Either a picture of yourself or something that reflects who you are.
