The weather outside is frightful...
Hello from the frozen wastes of western Washington. I'm Jonathan. A just turned 50, long=haired, nerd and career barista. I have been wearing modern kilts for about six years. I am going to be married in the summer of 2013 and am saving up for my first tartan to wear then.
In the meantime here is the kilted hamster in the snow last Monday...

Carried away by the madness of fight, the English knight charged straight into the Spanish array. Here and there tossed the white plume of the English helmet, rising and falling like the foam upon a wave, until at last it had sunk from view, and another brave man had turned from war to peace.

Re: The weather outside is frightful...
Welcome from Albuquerque, great bunch here.
I am a Utilikilt wearer and I use a black or grey Mocker for church and other formal siituations, if you arent totally set on a tartan. As a dane/irish/english/german I don't wish to step on any tartaned toes by wearing a tartan that I may not have a right too.
Although some are really sharp looking... Chuck
Stay warm guy.
