from Chicago. My nephew, Seamus, a somewhat inactive member here wore his kilt to public high school here in Evanston, Illinois. Here's a link to some of his experiences http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/t...x.html?t=10893

Hello and a warm Celtic from Boston, Massachusetts
I wore a kilt to school when I was 15... in Scotland. Then returned to the U.S. and wore a kilt most days to High School. Still kilted at 57. Enjoy the kilted world. There are many useful threads here. Pull up a chair and plan on being glued to the screen for a while. Check out the Kilt dos and don'ts thread, it has many items of good humour, and suggestions.
And when you get a chance post a picture of yourself in your kilt. Let the world know how great it looks.
