    Yet another newbie

    Hello all, absolutely a green newbie here. Spent most of my life thinking my Dad's family was German, thanks to my aunt we have found that we are from Scotland, from around Edinburgh. Confusing to say the least, but it does explain all of that red hair in the family. A good friend in California directed me to this forum, so I'm putting myself in your care.
