Kilt + Needed for Rabbie Burns Dinner

    Greetings Lads and Lasses,
Two or should I say"too" tall of an order here. Iwas invited to a Robert Burns Dinner on Jan 13, so looking for a kilt and some other accessories. I am of Irish descendency, County Westmeath and my measurements taken are 36W x 24.5L. Where's a good place to get a kilt quick? Anyone selling theirs and could ship quickly? May go to Pipers Cove for a rental. Also, then was asked to give the "Immortal Memory". Anyone have a good source for Robert Burns info?

Thank you in advance for your expertise!

You could get a Irish National or Saffron from Stillwater in a couple of days.

I'd say go over to Stillwater kilts and order the Irish National

As for the Immortal Memory I'd say that will be your biggest problem. Here is a link to the World Burns Federation with links to past Immortal Memories

You could also check out USA Kilts. Rocky usually has some OTR casuals in stock.

Freedom kilts also have "off the rack" kilts in stock, shoot them an email and see if they have your size.

Thank you all very much for the great advice! Ended up at Pipers Cove. Cheaper than USA Kilts and Joan really took care of me. Ordered a County Westmeath kilt and until it comes in they gave me a free rental for the dinner. They are knowledgeable and inexpensive for an 8 yd kilt.

Thanks for the Burns link as well.
