    Josh mate...

You'll be lucky to find someone here who will part with a wool kilt for 45 quid. You'd be better off trawling ebay, where there are bargains to be had if you are patient.

Alternatively, if you want one NOW! you could try these retailers who are somewhere near your price point. The kilts they sell are not wool but any 8 yard kilt from these chaps is a reasonable starting point.

    Stillwater Kilts - Acrylic

The Scotland Kilt Company - Polyviscose

    Heritage of Scotland - Polyviscose

It might be worth noting all these have a standard length of 24" so depending on how tall you are, you might find them too short, In which case, start saving now for a made to measure.
    Best Regards John

Thank you John for the links and the information. I certainly do not expect to get a beautiful thick wool kilt for the money I am asking. I should have been a bit more clear on what I am looking for. Synthetic would be be fine as long as it a traditional looking tartan.
I am still considering buying one new but I wanted to first see if anyone had a kilt they were willing to sell.
Again thanks for the links John, those could be a great option!!

If you look in the For Sale section of this forum, I am selling an acrylic kilt for 50$CAD and also a Gunn tie for 5$CAD.

You need three measurements: waist, hips and length. Get what you can now but keep the news out of your need. People change sizes and sometimes unload kilts at good prices. Good luck!
