    Sporran without tassels.

I'm looking to buy a new sporran, prefer no tassels.

I currently have the most inexpensive sporran on SWK.

    time for an upgrade.

Are you looking for a day wear sporran? I have one from L&M with no tassels as with all L&M sporrans this one is of the highest quality, I would heartily recommend this sporran to anyone looking for a day wear sporran without tassels. I purchased mine through Canadian Casual Kilts

    Can't recommend this highly enough:

My McRostie has been my favorite for some time now. Still as good as new. Great stuff. Great value.

    Re: Sporran without tassels.

If you are looking for something fairly inexpensive, but still good quality, the "Country Squire" sporran from the STM's economy sporran line fits the bill.

Comes in black and brown. Here's the lack one.

And as Glen said, many of the L&M brand sporrans come with no tassels. Here is a simple brown military style one:

    This one is listed here:
    http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/sporrans2.html

There are many black leather ones like Glen pictures listed here:
    http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/sporrans1.html

And, of course, none of these "hunting" style sporrans have tassles.

You could also commission one of our fine artists to create for you a custom peice. I had the esteemed Mr. Nighthawk make mine. Here some examples he has around the boards.

    Re: Sporran without tassels.

I can not recall the cost, but I do know you could get in contact with the Scottish Tartan Museum or Canadian Casual Kilts or any other vendor that carries L&M Sporrans and find out from them. I did buy it a few years ago so the price may have changed at any rate.

Why not simply cut the tassels off ?
It's what I did with my SWK sporran.
