New Argyle jacket/vest at Sportkilt
I bought a new Argyle Jacket/vest from Sportkilt recently, a size 46 too, $200, free shipping for that amount. I'm pleased with it. Planning to wear mine at the next Burns Supper.

Re: Wanted Argyle Jacket & Vest 46 inch
I don't know whether you are still looking for a kilt jacket but I have a 46" pure wool green tweed jacket and vest that no longer fits. My slimming program has been an outstanding success but has had consequences for my wardrobe! I can send you some pictures if you send me a blank email with your address. My emaill is pcnclark@hotmail.co.uk.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Peter

Re: Wanted Argyle Jacket & Vest 46 inch
Are you a true 46? I have a 45", black, with vest that needs a good home. Sleeve length from point of shoulder is 24". Drop me a PM if this will work for you.

Re: Wanted Argyle Jacket & Vest 46 inch
Hi Bill, thanks for the msg a 45 inch would be ok and the sleeve length is good too, what price are you asking for this item and any chance of a photo please. I live in Tasmania Australia, so some idea of postage costs would also be good.
I bought a jacket off the net a few months ago and unfortunately wasn't the size the seller had advertised so now I have a 38 inch argyll jacket that was sold to me as a 46 inch,,,,,,,,,,,,, nice jacket but way way too small.
We live and learn. lol
Anyway I am very interested, so I await your reply with much anticipation..........
Best Regards
Bob Lawrence

I'll PM you with the particulars.
It's too bad that this story is so common with highland jackets. The jackets I have were ordered for a pipe band and none of the jackets were the size they claimed to be...some were off by six inches in the chest, which is of course three sizes! And that was direct from the factory.
