Wanted: USMC Kilt for Husband
Hey Y'all, I am looking for a USMC kilt for my husband. We have been looking all over the internet and the only place that has USMC tartan that he likes (quality for price) does not carry his waist size. I was wondering if anyone here has one to sell or knows of a place to purchase one. He wears a 38" waist (above navel) and a 23" length. Any help is appreciated!

It seems that Steve may have exactly what you are looking for, but other options are the Sportkilt already posted by MattyRoss,
Frugal Corner http://thefrugalcorner.3dcartstores....ilt_p_218.html
or
Stillwater Kilts http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Sti...FREE%20Flashes
I see SW doesn't have the size you are looking for listed, but give Jerry a call, his Customer Service is second to none.
Good Luck!

If you want a TRUE kilt for something as honorable as a Leatherneck tartan go with what Steve has if it fits...and no waiting!
If it doesn't fit, have a kilt custom sewn by a quality kiltmaker. You don't say where you live on the planet. Most kiltmakers sew for folks world wide.
Kathy Lare sewed my hand sewn Leatherneck tartan. She's a Marine family to boot.

I see that many of our good members have already begun the process of assisting you, wonderful! If I remember correctly, I believe forum member, David Pope, had Leatherneck tartan material available for sale, which could most definitely be made into a kilt for your husband. I would suggest you contact David, via PM, if you so desire. Good luck!
