    It's a long shot but...

    Would anyone care to trade their wool Black Watch kilt for a serger or sewing machine?

    I can't exactly tell from the photo, but that appears to be a Singer model 774 (or similar) I learned to sew on a 30 year old 774. I'd trade you but it'd leave me sewing machine heavy (Since I already own one) and kilt-light (Since I have only two and one is a blackwatch)

    Bummer. I have 3 sewing machines, so I'm more sewing machine heavy than you. You are correct though, this is a 734 Singer Stylist that's older than I am. Definitely not a piddly quilting machine.
