If Billy Gibbons or Dusty Hill were to wear a kilt, this would definitely be their choice of sporran!

Yep, that's the only Rev. Willie G. Sporran I've ever seen. Beautiful, ain't it?

Re: Looking for a evening/dress sporran
I always found it funny that drummer Frank Beard was the only one in the band without one.

All that sporran needs to join the band is a pair of "cheap sunglasses".

By where this thread is going it looks like I'm not the only one who doesn't find this to his taste.

I like the looks of this sporran and would personally enjoy wearing it for semidress situations, although I have others I already use for that purpose. I have several dress sporrans that I could offer in exchange but none are horsehair dress sporrans, which is what I believe you are seeking from your OP. If you are open to other options let me know and I will send you some pics of what I have available. All are standard chrome cantle, a couple with enamel inlay, of various attractive furs (one dyed burgundy) and one of curly tibetan goat hair significantly shorter than yours. And all are essentially new, worn once or twice or never at all.
Hope this gets the thread back on your intended trajectory.

Re: Looking for a evening/dress sporran
Jeff,
Actually I wasn't wanting a horse hair so your offer is great. Amy has issues with fur to begin with and horse hair really seems to bothers her even though they don't kill the horse to get it. It just one of those "go with the flow things" that makes life smoother in the house. I will admit that horse hair really isn't a big favorite of mine either. Some time in the far distant future I may get one a full dress one but there are other things on the list sooner.
This one is also "new out of the box." I haven't trimmed the hair to size yet so it should be ready for anyone.
Awaiting pics .
