In line with the For Sale and Wanted sections, we are setting new rules for the Swap section.

1: For the sake of efficiency and clarity the title should be as clear as possible and the initial post should clearly describe both the article being offered and the article wanted. Details of size, item color, tartan, etc. and photoos make for a much more useful post.

2:Swap Ads may remain for up to 60 days. After 60 days all posts on the thread will be deleted. The post can be bumped once after 15 days and again after 30 days.

3: Posts to the thread must be relevant, i.e. clarification of details, or a suggestion for where an item might be found.

4: If you have an item that meets the request, please contact the advertiser by PM to complete the transaction.

5: If you have found what you wanted, please do us and all others a favor and post SWAP COMPLETED! by editing your original post and putting the message on the top line.

6: If your wanted ad goes past the 60 day limit, we will first perform a 'soft' delete so the post title will remain visible with a reason for deletion showing. After five days we will do a 'hard' deletion and the post will disappear.
