1st non tartan kilt
Swore I would never own a modern, non tartan kilt (also swore I wouldn't own anything other than my Dunbar tartan - 16 oz. Lochcarron Dunbar modern) but then came the SWK Irish national heavyweight, then the SWK Shadow tartan heavyweight, and now......ironically on National Tartan Day......my utilikilt original black showed up.

Himself has had the Workmans version of the Utilikilt for everyday wear for a few years now, finds it a very practical kilt and as he wears it in the workshop a lot its very useful that they are easily laundered when necessary. Like many kilts you might find you like yours even better once its broken in a bit and has settled to your own style of wearing.

Very cool, and looking good!
I've got a SWK Shadow tartan heavyweight, and a couple of Utilikilts myself.

That's a good look! You should post these pics on the "looks and why they work" thread, also.

Beware, UK's get addictive. For winter wear you'll start checking out the Workman, and then different colors and on it goes ......

You seriously look like you should be in the middle of a soccer riot!! Rock on.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

You could be hanging out with Stiv Baters in that outfit. Nice look. Off topic, but I also like the shorter hair.

I agree 100%. The Workman is what I use too, and it's easy to throw it in the washer when it gets filthy. I noticed that mine was more comfortable and easy to deal with after the first couple of washes.
(Or maybe I just stopped being so particular after the 'new' had been worn/washed off!)

To hang with Stiv would be to climb into a coffin..........but compliment taken to be mentioned in the same breath as The Dead Boys, life isn't easy in the detention home........as far as the hair, huge mistake, give me 2 years and I'll be a long haired punk again.
Rock on SlackerDrummer!!!!
