| | | "21st Century Kilts" splits from "Geoffrey (Tailor)"
Now it can be told!
My good pal Howie Nicholsby has taken his "21st Century Kilts", or TFCK, out from under the Geoffrey (Tailor) umbrella, and is operating independently from his parents.
He has been wanting to do this for some time and now has his own store at:
"21st Century Kilts",
48, Thistle Street,
EDINBURGH,
EH2 1EN
[Off George Street, between Frederick and Hanover, and before Queen Street]
The premises are not yet officially open to casual callers, but Howie can be reached on his Mobile 'phone (07774 757222) and E-mail: howie@21stcenturykilts.com www.21stcenturykilts.com
It is not yet clear whether he will be attending the Geoffrey (Tailor) Ltd monthly London showrooms at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Bayswater in future but obviously he hopes to.
I will keep you posted with further information regarding TFCK as soon as I hear it myself.
Take care,
Ham.

Best of luck to Howie Nicholsby.
His pinstripe kilt suits have always intrigued me as a wonderful mix of modern and classic.
I wish him and 21st Century Kilts the best of luck
Cheers
Jamie

Congrats to Howie!
I had the pleasure of running into him at the NHHG several years back; charming fellow who obviously has an keen eye for the evolution of highland wear. I hope the business continues to prosper!

Hamish
Thank you for passing on the news, I of course wish Howie all the best in this new and exciting endeavour, I have no doubt he will continue to be a smash.

I wonder if he'd be willing to take on an apprentice kilt maker? Geoffrey (T) has a full staff and told me they wouldn't be taking any on. I'd love to move there and go through the actual Scottish Qualification Authority process.

I have, for a while been a FAN of what he is doing If I were back in the "corporate word", I would have some of his suits. BTW, if I win the "lotto" I would get one ASAP
