    Alphakilts

Just got a new model kilt from Alphakilts.com

It's a beautiful! I don't have a chance to get it on today, but here are some pics of it out of the box. Pics of it being worn to come:

    Here is a front view...

    and a side view...

    and a back view...

and here is the pleat depth...

and a picture of the embroidered pocket logo...

and here is the secret inner pocket (shhh)...

and this shows that the pleat continue all the way around - here is the inside of the inner apron...

and the inside of the outer apron...

and finally, here is the cargo pocket...

    which is removeable!

As I said - it is extremely well made, and photos of me wearing it to come.

Hmmm, I'll look into those guys. Let us know how it does once you wear it around a bit.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I'm saving up for my first contemporary kilt. I've been trying to decide between an Amerikilt or a Utilikilt, but that looks really nice! I'd love to hear a review when you get a chance.

Yup...box pleats. The ones on their website are currently knife-pleated models. I was able to get on as a product tester for their new box-pleated model. Very sturdy and extremely well made. I would put this as an equivalent to Utilikilts.

Would be interested in a Denim, but am a bit hesitant after my eternally crumpled Amerikilt pleats!
Wear it for a few days, then please give us a review. In and out of a car, seated in front of TV. etc. How do the pleats and general hang hold up?

Interesting. They certainly think positively though. How many kilts come with "Condom Pockets"?
