    another man drops his jeans

I just placed my order about an hour ago for an Amerikilt. I figured they have a reasonably good reputation, they are local to me (and I like to see local startups survive), and offer the least expensive contemporary kilt that I have been able to find. Sure, I'd love to have a Pittsburgh Kilt, a Utilikilt, and even a traditional 8 yard tartan to wear to church on sunday. But you have to start somewhere.

    Welcome Magnus!

Like you , I only recently got my first kilt. That was from a kilt maker at the CT Ren Faire in Oct. I now have a total of 4.

    Keep on kilting!

Magnus, once you get your grubbies on that kilt, you'll need to get out and be seen. Might I suggest a night at Finnigan's Wake, Brittingham's, Kildare's or Tir Na Nog?

You can wear it on South Street and no one will even notice!

If it arrives in time I will be wearing it at the Trocadero on Wednesday night next week (KMFDM concert).

And I'm always up for a pint (or two, or three...). If there are local congregations of kilts, please get the new guy up to speed.
