That is a sharp looking kilt! Although I'm not sure it would have affected my decision on reenlistment.

The Claymore label really made me laugh. I laughed every time I saw that when I was in. (That and the "rock or something" diagram in the MRE heaters.) Sometimes it's the little things that get you through the day.

Sorry for getting a little off-topic, but I can still remember the tail-chewing I got for writing "This End Towards Bad Guys" on the bore evacuator of my M-1 with white chalk, with an arrow pointing down the gun tube to the muzzle.

My platoon sergeant was NOT amused. Everyone else seemed to have gotten a chuckle out of it, though.

That reminds me of the time we picked on the new guy in ROTC by putting a safety tag on the end of his weapon reading "EXIT ONLY." The reason for doing so would probably be pretty inappropriate to post, but I'm sure you can all imagine.

That kilt looks fantastic. I love the idea of pockets attached to kilts; sporrans don't do much for me because I carry too much stuff for a sporran to really be efficient. By the time I've got a wallet, smartphone, pack of cigarettes, zippo and keys in a sporran, it just gets crowded and cluttered.

Okay, when are these going to be available to the rest of us? I've been contemplating buying a hiking kilt for quite a while and have been holding out until I found the one I knew I wanted. This one is it! By the way, I just purchased one of the "Zombie Hunter" patches from the Milspec Monkey site. Excellent!

The "Front Toward Enemy" patch should eliminate the wrong way round (pleats in the front) mistake some newbies make.

That's no sport kilt my kilted clansman. One is tough enough for competing in highland games, the other is tough enough for competing in a highland version of Armageddon.
