    ApocoKilt v1.3?

First post, lurking for a while. I discovered a very nice package in the post from JT (OFCJAX) sitting on my table. V1.3? of the ApocoKilt. I'm getting ready to take it out on its first walk. More pics and reviews to follow...BTW, My tubby form does not do it justice. (growing gut and no butt...) He put a lot of thought into it and really shows....

Wow. You say OFCJAX made it?
My idea was to get an Edinburgh AlphaKilt in Multicam. I like this more.
    Very cool.

The kilt looks great and you wear it well.

I love the patches on the sporran. I have quite a few memories attached to the words "embrace the suck". Funny thing is the memories are much funnier (at least to me) now that I'm out.

Again a great looking kilt and good job by OCFJAX!
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Nice kilt. Looks like OCFJAX has it dialed in. Blood type on the uniform brings back memories.

    Thanks for the comments folks.

I later found out that the thread I used on this one was a NOMEX thread that runs about $91 a 16 oz spool! I bought it for $1 at an Army Navy store a few years back for a wholly unrelated project. I was gonna use a tan thread but it looked horrible on the Multicam. I rummaged through my bin o' thread and did some modified threading of the sewing machine and it worked out great! I would have preferred to use Coyote Brown thread and velcro but I used what I had.
He sent me enough fabric that I might be able to squeeze one out for myself. Now that I'm all caught up, I just might.
