This looks like it is shaping up to be a great week to be Celtic and in Vancouver. We have the parade this coming Saturday moring, followed by a week of highland games demonstrations, and some great music. I am sure that Bear will have some awesome photos from the parade.

Parade

Ugh!
It's 3:45 am and I just finished making a kilt for one of the guys coming with us tomorrow in the parade.
I have to be up at 7:30.
The Bear Kilts banner looks great! Cub is excited about being in the parade and we'll have a bunch of other kids with us, too.
The Kilts Night Regulars will be there. (Where would I be without them?)
Rudi of Celtic Empire is coming, complete with sword, shield, and quite possible some kind of armour.
Both my (Philipina) seamstresses are coming in their kilts, each bringing a kid in kilts.
Raphael is Chinese. Vic is Mexican.
We'll have quite a multicultural parade entry for an Irish event! That's Vancouver!
I'm taking my camera and will post a page with the pics.

You have a grand time Bear. I shall be thinking of you today. Looking forward to pictures.

Have fun, Bear! Wish I was there to experience it for myself.
