    It Came, IT CAME!!!!

Just got my Gunn Kilt from Rocky today. Sewed on the strip (red) and it LOOKS GREAT!! The Sporron with the celtic knot will also make a great casual sporron.

If I go on they will probably charge Rocky for the commercial. I start tomorrow on saving the pennies for the next one...choices, choice....

We will be going the Father's Day bit with the father-in-law Sunday so I'll get the pictures posted as soon as I can after that.

If ANYONE is wondering about getting a kilt from Rocky at USAKilts I rate them a 12 on the 1-10 scale...the next kilt will probable put them in the 15 bracket.

    Thanks Rocky....pics to follow....

    RJ,

You only got the Philabeg... wait til you order a Traditional! You may pass out at this rate.

Seriously though... thank you for the kind words. They really do mean a lot coming from someone with more than 1 type of kilt. I love hearing from first timers and how much they love getting their first kilt, but when someone WITH a kilt (or kilts) compliments me, I really am proud.

BTW... RJ, your check is in the mail... good review. Now lets see some pics!

Your a mind reader Rocky! I was in doing dishes a few minutes ago and looking at the kilt laying on the table in the dinning room. I was thinking how the tradational WOULD probably look great and I had been thinking about that being my next choice!

As far as the check, just put it on account because it will probably come back to you on the next order...

I'll post pics as soon as I can (probably Sunday or Monday).

    Hey Colin,

Yeah, it's the Prince of Wales Tartan. I'd post the pic of it in this posting, but I'm not what we'd call "computer literate".

Great news Richard, so glad you're happy, I expect mine before too long also, a traditional 8 yard Stewart Hunting (just like my hero - Duncan)

We can compare piccies soon eh?

You have a deal Graham. I have looked at the Hunting also but the Johnson's are a sept of Gunn. When Rocky said he had gotten some Gunn tartan it was 'a sign from above'. I had joined the Gunn Society of North America the weekend before his sale so 'it was ment to be!'

Rocky has some pull...wonder if he chooses lottery numbers?

I have a Gunn Bear PV kilt, I love it, it's a great tartan, very lovely colours and very tasteful, not to mention the good workmanship and lovely material, I'm a convert to PVis, I know your kilt will be very comfortable.
