    canvas kilts

Has anyone seen or know anything about the "canvas kilts" at the scottish lion? I've been thinking about ordering one...thinking I'd like something other than my UK's to be able to wear to work. Sorry Rocky, I'm not wearing my wool trad. USAK to the machine shop.

I like the fact that they're pleated like a traditional kilt, but made of duck. And also not too terribly expensive.

    Any input?

    Hey Jeremy,

Please DON'T wear your Wool MacKinlay to the machine shop! I REALLY don't feel like trying to darn any holes in it.

While I know little about the Scotish Lion's canvas kilts, have you checked out Steve at Freedom Kilts? He's a bit more traditional (wider apron, deeper pleats, etc) than your UK and from what I've heard makes a great product. You may also want to check out Pittsburgh kilts... he's gotten a lot of positive comments on XMARKS.

I think the canvas kilts at Scottish Lion are Buzz Kidder kilts.

    Canvas Kilts

Well Folks give me a little bit as we @Canadian Casual Kilts do make a canvas kilt with a wider front apron and deep pleats also we use a two buckle closure system some what of a traditional look presently we offer them in black, khaki, saffron, and drab olive green pics to follow as I am very particular about quality and look.I am still working slowly on my website a student of mine is the actual web maker there are a few pic there of some of our custom jobs such as the Canadian Kilt and the great kilt, let me know what you think.

    morning,
i checked out the site. it's pretty choppy. i saw it a while ago and there hasn't been any improvements. not much of a reliable marketing tool.
