Clan crests on sporrans

Here's something new.
Rudi at Celtic Empire has agreed to put clan crests on the sporrans he makes for me in lieu of the knotwork for no extra charge.
There will be a $10.00 charge if you want the knotwork and the clan crest.

Nice sporrans, I like the idea of embossed clan crests, I've always thought that the cast clan badges look a bit "showy", this is a much better idea, very tasteful.

The Hannay Clan crest is so nice! I would have to say it is the best!

Bear brought the demo of the clan crest sporrans to show (sell) me to our kilts night last Saturday. Needless to say I now own really nice brown leather sporran with the Mackenzie crest. I don't know if I would go with the clan crest, and the Celtic design (may be too clottered), but the clan crests look really good. Thanks Bear, another awesome product.

Have a look at my fancy new sporran.

I don't think I'd like both the the clan crest and the knotwork on the sporran, either.
They would take attention away from each other.
I think Rudi has outdone himself on these. The crests are deeply embossed into the leather and the stain is applied to make it look even deeper.
The belts are now made of a much thicker leather, too.

Bear,
On your site the picture of the sporran with the clan crest shows a sporran strap wrapped around the sporran. Do your sporrans come with a sporran strap?

sporrans

Looks really good, simple and stylish, looks like it's ready to be used not hang in a cupboard.
The embossing looks like a proper job too. Congrats on a job well done.
Cheers Rhino

I know I'm way behind in posting on this topic. But I just got around to it. Those crest sporrans look great. Now we just need some irish ones.
