Crazy World: Patriots kilt from a Pittsburgh Kiltmaker!

I am a New England Patriots Fan... 18 Victories in a row... Go Pats!

I just ordered a navy twill kilt with silver pleats and red stitching from Jeff at Pittsburgh Kilts. We emailed back and forth several times discussing the design. Jeff seems like a great guy! To think a Steeler fan would help out a guy from New England. (sorry about that Play Off thing)
Jeff will even go so far as to sew on a Patriots Patch I'm sending him.

Soon I'll have a two toned Patriots kilt with the Flying Elvis across my apron!

I'll post the pics when the Kilt arrives.

So how do you keep the freezing cold wind from causing Frost Bite on your boys? Those games can be mighty cold.

the Flannel lined kilts look like they would do the trick.
but i would think that 8 yards or so of fabric would keep me warm in just about any weather.

We talked (emailed) about a lined Kilt but I decided that it was "too much". Some games are warm weather... other games are away and I'm inside (hopefully in front of a large HD TV!).

I suppose as a true fan I'll have to endure the cold.

Congratulations on your purchase. Pittsburgh Kilts are great.

I have a flannel-lined denim, and that's the warmest kilt I have (warmer even than my wool kilt). Maybe you'll decide it's NOT really "too much" at your first really cold game.

Until then, you'll have to cheat. Boxer briefs do a pretty good job of keeping you warm where you need to be. Other guys swear by tights (but I don't -- they just look goofy to me). Taller boots and taller socks should help, too.

You know, those butane fueled handwarmers? That would keep things nice and warm. They're about the size of a pack of cigarettes.

    NICE!

Can't wait to see the pictures and get yet another review of the work.

Apparently, we have a company that has NO PROBLEM with going that extra yard on custom-work. That's VERY rare in the business!!! The guy must have one h_ll of an eye and an imagination to come-up with some of his designs!

    Kudos to Pittsburgh Kilts! 8)

The Patriots kilt is gorgeous. I am very impressed with the Kilt. How can I tailgate in something so nice?

Jeff really did something special for me... Pics to follow soon!

Hot damn! Great news. My hopes are high now. Jeff is making up an Arizona State Flag kilt for me now.

Royal blue kilt with alternate red and yellow pleats like the state flag. If the Patriot Kilt worked the Arizona flag kilt should too.

Don't know that I'd pay money to watch the Arizona Cardinals play whatever it is they pretend to play though...besides, the stadium is 300 miles south of here...most locals are broncos fans.

So, the Arizona Flag kilt was just ordered so I have some jonesing to do...best settle back...but I'll bet Jeff's work arrives before my 4 UKs still on order do...

Funny, I'm just as juiced up about creating the Arizona Flag kilt with Jeff as I am/was about the UK black leather when I placed the order 7 weeks ago..
