Don't let the name fool ya....

A short while ago, Chris @ cheapkilts.net made a limited time offer of traditional cut 8 yard kilts in poly-viscose tartan at a significantly discounted price. Not one to pass on a bargain like that, I placed an order. Yesterday I received my new kilt in the mail and I must say I'm impressed. The fit is perfect, the workmanship is excellent, and with the exception of the fabric and selvedge issue, it's just like my Lochcarron 8 yarder. I'll try to post a picture shortly. Don't let the name fool ya... Cheapkilts delivered lots of ka-boom for the ka-ching. Nicely done, Chris. 8)

Good to hear you like your new kilt, I'll look forward to the piccies.
Chris does a great job, I certainly like the kilt he made for me. Mine was a wool blend, it fits and feels great.

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. I too am dying to see the pics. This was my first military pleated kilt (to the stripe). I thought it turned out quite well. Now I want to make one for myself. I'll never have any extra money if I keep spending it on tartan fabric.
