    Please, no. Not Velcro. I hate the stuff on clothing. It's noisy, snaggs lint, and shreds any surface that might rub against the exposed hook portion. I remove it and replace it with another fastener where I can.

    The last kilt I ordered from Seamus at SK, I ordered the Velcro mounted 1/2 inch lower so it would not saw into my tummy. It isn't the hooks as much as it is the stiff backing Velcro uses. It helps to miter the corners of the backing material a lot. I always wash with the Velcros mated.

    It being the Elkommando re-debut day, I checked Mountain Hardwears site - not there.
    Checked REI site - It's there as a backorder item, pictures look the same as it was before. Same hem length.

    Iain all I saw was Otter. I checked MH site again and still no listing.

    Today 2/16 REI is showing all but small of the Elkommandos in stock.

    MH site - nada.
