    Graham made me do it.

O.K. Graham, I started off to get the Black Stewart but your Hunting Stewart look good so I thought I'd shoot for it. I opted for the Philabeg and not tradational though but I'm still thinking on it for the Gunn. I told my wife I need another 'day kilt' for the vacation cruise and due to the fact she just 'invested' in some clothing it gave me a good excuse.

    Counting the days....

I tell my wife the many reasons to get a new kilt and she just says, "It's your story, tell it."

She knows that by the time I get to her, I've ordered already.

It is easier to ask for forgiveness, than for permission.

That's the beauty of being able to make a kilt. I found some Hunting MacLeod tonight, and just finished making the kilt. What a beautiful tartan!

I found that if I make the better-half a kilt too, there's no bargaining to deal with.

    We all have our scam!

Graham, order, I'm convinced that once you get a non tartan kilt you'll find you love them.
After all I've ordered a tartan-after all I said , thats the great thing about this place. We're exposed to different influence and opinions, which in turn can change our own. I'm still not keen on the full formal look for me though.
Right gotta to go and order me Prince Charlie....

I have a mix of plain and tartan kilts, my favourite being my tan Utilikilt (neo-trad). I'm interested in a Victory kilt so await Graham's eventual report as I'm sure he'll succomb.

There are many ways to get from A to B. It's not the destination, it's the journey that counts.
